HVAC fluid leak detector
Overview
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) fluid leak detectors help prevent costly water damage in smart homes and smart buildings. Our reference designs and integrated circuits allow you to extend battery life while adding wireless connectivity to connect to the cloud and achieve accurate leak and freeze detection.
Design requirements
HVAC fluid leak detector designs require:
- Nano-amp quiescent current and high light-load efficient power topologies to enable 10+ years battery life.
- Nano-power sensing to accurately detect water leak and freeze.
- Ultra-low-power wireless MCUs that support Wi-Fi®, BLE, and Sub-1GHz communication standards.
