Wired control

Wired control is the backbone of the lighting system, includes components such as switching relay panels and gateways and may use several wireless connectivity standards. The wired controls may be isolated or non-isolated and interconnect all the components of the lighting system.

Design requirements

Modern wired control designs may require:

• Reference designs that demonstrate various lighting control subsystems such as AC/DC power conversion, power management, load drivers and wired and wireless interfaces.
• Reference designs that demonstrate methods to achieve elegant user interfaces and various implementations of efficient wireless control while complying with multiple worldwide standards.
