Description for the OPA2863

The OPAx863 devices are low-power, unity-gain stable, rail-to-rail input/output,voltage-feedback operational amplifiers designed to operate over a power supply range of 2.7-V to12.6-V. Consuming only 750-µA per channel, the OPAx863 devices offer a gain-bandwidth product of50-MHz, slew rate of 100-V/µs with a voltage noise density of5.9-nV/√Hz.

The rail-to-rail input stage with 2.7-V supply operation is useful in portable batterypowered applications. The differential input stages are well matched for gain-bandwidth product andnoise across the full input common-mode voltage range, enabling superior performance withwide-input dynamic range. The OPAx863 devices feature a power-down (PD) mode with a PD quiescentcurrent of 1.5-µA (maximum) with turn-on or turn-off within 10-µs (typical).

The OPAx863 devices include overload power limiting to limit the increase in quiescentcurrent with saturated outputs, thereby preventing excessive dissipation critical inbattery-powered systems. The output stage is short-circuit protected, making it a rugged amplifierfor general-purpose usage.
