Overview

This reference design is a high power dual phase non-synchronous boost converter for short term operation, dedicated for “Start/Stop” system. The design has an input voltage range from 6.5V to 9.5V and an output voltage of 9.5V. The design can also be modified to be used for thermal interface designs.

Features
  • Wide input operating voltage from 4.5V to 52V
  • Fixed frequency current mode control
  • Internal slope compensaion and an intergrated low-side driver
  • Programmable close-loop start stop
  • Capable of external synchronization
  • Low current disable function
