Fast Charge Adapter Control Board Using MaxCharge™ Technology Reference Design

The PMP40133 control board provides the interface with fast charger adapter solution. The main MCU is MSP430G2955 which controls communication with a charger device using MaxCharge™ techonlogy. TPL0102-100 digital potentiometer is used for fine tuning the adapter output voltage. 256 taps  enables 10mV votlage step adjustement accuracy. INA199B current detection circuit and voltage divider circuit is used for adapter's OCP and OVP.

  • System level solution for cable impedance detection and BAT OVP co-working with BQ2587x
  • Advanced fast charge algorithm via D+, D-
  • Analog signal to PMP40060 FB pin providing 10mV/step resolution
