Isolated DM Flyback for Charger 5V@1A

Design files

This low-cost (5W) isolated flyback regulator produces a USB 5V output from a low-voltage input, such as automotive. A full-load efficiency of 83% was achieved from a 12V nominal input.

Output voltage options PMP5063.1
Vin (Min) (V) 10
Vin (Max) (V) 33
Vout (Nom) (V) 5
Iout (Max) (A) 1
Output Power (W) 5
Isolated/Non-Isolated Non-Isolated
Input Type DC
Topology Flyback- DCM^Flyback- Non Sync

A fully assembled board has been developed for testing and performance validation only, and is not available for sale.
