High Line Input to 12V@1A Primary Side Regulated, Quasi Resonant Flyback Reference Design

Low component count and low cost isolated flyback, converting the high line mains (180Vac…275Vac) to 12V@1A, 1.2Amax. Thanks to the UCC28700 controller, no optocoupler is needed to close the loop.

  • Lower component count
  • Lower cost – Opto coupler eliminated
  • Efficiency improvement over fixed frequency as it is using a QR flyback UCC28700
