100A Closed-Loop Current Sensor Reference Design using Bi-Polar Supplies

TIPD184

Design files

Overview

This TI Precision Verified Design provides a complete 100 A closed loop Hall based current sensor solution using the DRV411 with bi-polar popwer supplies.  The DRV411 provides Hall excitation, a compensation coil driver and a precision difference amplifier in a single package.  The unique current spinning technology employed on the DRV411 virtually eliminates the offset and 1/f noise of the Hall device.

Features
  • 100A Closed Loop Current Sensor
  • Utilizes the DRV411
  • Galvanic Isolation
  • Bi-Polar Supplies
