The TPS61040EVM-001 is an evaluation tool for the SOT-23 TPS61040 inductive boost converter which can supply voltages up to 28V from input voltages in the range of 1.8V to 6V. The EVM is configured as LCD bias supply and the TPS61040 is set up to generate 18V at 20mA from a single cell Li ion battery. The EVM can be modified to accomodate other battery chemistries or applications. The TPS61041 can be evaluated simply by replacing the TPS61040 IC on the EVM.
