Release Information

SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 includes software and firmware to capture and display over-the-air packets. The capture device is connected to the PC via USB. SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 supports the CC13xx and CC26xx family of devices as capture device and uses Wireshark for packet display and filtering.

What's new

  • Support for IEEE 802.15.4 2.4 GHz, IEEE 802.15.4g and RF proprietary protocols on the LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1 platform was added.
  • Menu option "About" was moved under a new menu option "Help" and includes an option to view the User Guide documentation.
  • Menu option "Data" has been moved under "Options".
  • Status bar information was improved.
  • A failed device scan no longer displays an error message.
  • A "Search For New Devices" successful scan now automatically brings up the "Device Configuration" window.
