The SN65LVDS31-32EVM evaluation moduel (EVM) includes the SV65LVDS31 quad driver and the SN65LVDS32 quad receiver. The SN65LVDS31 device is a TIA/EIA-644 standard-compliant LVDS driver. The SN65LVDS32 device is a TIA/EIA-644 standard-compliant receiver that has a passive open-circuit failsafe detection circuit. The failsafe circuit included in the SN65LVDS32 includes a pair of 300-kΩ pullup resistors on the bus pins.
Note: This tool replaces the SN65LVDS31/32A.
We offer a family of low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) EVMs that are designed to analyze the electrical characteristics of our LVDS drivers and recevivers. We have four unique EVMs to evaluate the different classes of our LVDS devices. These EVMs support a combination of different drivers and receivers. The two LVDS drivers listed are pin compatible. The LVDS receivers listed are also pin compatible. The same printed circuit board (PCB) was used for all four EVMs and therefore the operating instructions included herein apply to all EVMs.
