The MSP Gang Programmer is a MSPM0/MSP430/MSP432 device programmer that can program up to eight identical flash or FRAM devices at the same time. The MSP Gang Programmer connects to a host PC using a standard RS-232 or USB connection and provides flexible programming options that allow the user to fully customize the process.
The MSP Gang Programmer is provided with an expansion board, called the Gang Splitter, that implements the interconnections between the MSP Gang Programmer and multiple target devices. Eight cables are provided that connect the expansion board to eight target devices (via JTAG or Spy-Bi-Wire connectors). The programming can be done with a PC or as a standalone device. A PC-side Graphical User Interface is also available and is DLL-based.

- Quickly and reliably program Flash or FRAM-based MSP devices via an RS-232 or USB interface

- Interactive Mode Programming while connected to PC using the MSP GANG Programmer GUI
- Program from Image: An image can be stored, which contains configuration options and code files. This allows users to program MSP devices standalone, without a PC
- Programming from Script: Enables developers to automate more complicated programming procedures.

The MSPM0 SDK delivers components that enable engineers to develop applications on Texas Instruments MSPM0 microcontroller devices. The product is comprised of multiple software components and more than 150 examples of how to use these components together. What’s New
- V1.3.1 is a maintenance release to address issues related to multi-core debug and C2x core trace. No new features are included.
Bug Fixes
- Prevent the selected debug context from unexpectedly changing on a multi-core device.
- The trace view may become blank when switching cores on a multi-core device.
- It may not be possible to start a debug session on older MacOS versions (v11 and earlier).
- For devices that support “fake standby”, it may not be possible to run the target once this mode is entered.
- Updated MSPM0 device support package.
Known Issues
- PC Hibernation affects CCS Theia inter-process communication with Resource Explorer opened. You may see a message “Error communicating with Cloud Agent “. Also, a notification panel in bottom right will be shown indicating that CCS Theia has gone offline. Please choose Restart option to restart CCS Theia and re-establish IPC communication.

Compatibility:
- Project System is fully compatible with existing Code Composer Studio projects, meaning that existing projects (or example projects in SDKs) can be imported into CCS Theia. Workspaces are not compatible.
- Simply import your existing projects or examples from the SDK and get started
- Debug: Project based debugging is supported by providing same single click Debug Active Project action as in CCS 12.x. Project-less debug, ability to start a debug session from target configuration file (ccxml) is supported.
- Workspace: CCS Theia is using different underlying framework as such workspaces are not compatible between CCS products based on Eclipse. However, projects are fully compatible.
- CCS Theia supports ability to open a folder that holds CCS Projects or open a folder where projects should reside.
- Similar to VS Code, CCS Theia can open multiple distinct folders that hold projects. This is documented in VS Code as multi-root workspace. However, project names need to be unique across different folders.

- TI CLANG 3.2.1 LTS, C2800 Compiler Tools v22.6.1 and MSP430 Compiler Tools v21.6.1.LTS compilers are bundled

The MSPM0 Analog Configurator is a graphical configuration tool designed to simplify and accelerate the design and enablement of an analog signal chain using a MSPM0 device with no traditional coding development necessary.
The tool uses an intuitive GUI to configure a signal chain using the high analog integration of MSPM0 devices, analyze and plot signals in real-time, and generate the configuration and code necessary to flash the device.
The current release only supports MSPM0L and MSPM0G production samples. See this FAQ for more information about silicon differences.
