Overview

PSEMTHR24EVM-081 is the base board for the TPS23881 and TPS23882 PSE controllers. This board contains 24 2-Pair / 4-Pair ports that can that can be used to send up to 30W/port for IEEE 802.3at applications and up to 90W/port for IEEE 802.3bt applications.

Power sourcing equipment
TPS23881 — 4-pair, type-4, 8-channel PoE PSE with 200-mΩ RSENSE  TPS23882 — Type-3, 2-pair, 8-channel PoE PSE controller with SRAM and 200-mΩ RSENSE

 

AC/DC & DC/DC controllers (external FET)
LM5020 — 13-100V Wide Vin, Current Mode PWM Boost, Flyback, Sepic Controller

 

Analog current-sense amplifiers
INA240 — -4 to 80V, bidirectional, ultra-precise current sense amplifier with enhanced PWM rejection

 

Comparators
TLV7021 — Low power, small size comparator with open-drain output

 

Ideal diode/ORing controllers
LM5050-1 — 5-V to 75-V 400-uA IQ ORing FET controller

 

Linear & low-dropout (LDO) regulators
TPS7A4001 — 50-mA, 100-V, low-IQ, adjustable low-dropout voltage regulator with enable

 

Series voltage references
REF3425 — 2.5-V, low-drift, low-power, small-footprint series voltage reference

 

Shunt voltage references
TLV431 — 1.5% accuracy, low-voltage, adjustable precision shunt regulator

 

Supervisor & reset ICs
TPS3890 — Low-quiescent current 1% accuracy supervisor with programmable delay
