Current detection mode for a single-phase e-meter using standalone metrology ADCs

00:14:26 | 27 MAR 2019
This module provides an overview of the ADS131M04’s current detection mode, which is a special low-power mode of the ADS131M04 standalone ADC that can detect the presence of current when someone has tampered with a meter by removing its neutral connection.  This is the first of two modules for the “ADS131M04 current detection mode for detecting neutral removal tampering” section of the “How to design 1-phase shunt electricity meters using standalone metrology ADCs” training series.
