Adjustable Switching Frequency (With RT)

The TLVM365R1x family allow the power designer to set any desired operating freqeuncy between 200 kHz and 2.2 MHz by placing a resistor between the RT pin and ground. See Figure 7-3 to determine the resistor value needed for the desired switching frequency. In addition, the RT resistor can be programmed without a resistor to ground by connecting the RT pin to the appropriate voltage level. See Table 7-1 for selection on programming the RT pin.

  • RT is the frequency setting resistor value (kΩ).
  • FSW is the switching frequency (kHz).
