2.5 Digital Interface and Data Format

Both INA219 and INA232 are equipped with an I2C- or SMBus-compatible interface. Both devices support fast and high-speed mode communication. Timing specification is compatible migrating from INA219 to INA232.

All registers are two-bytes wide, and accessing (read and write) is done in the order of MSByte first and LSByte last. The format of communication command is compatible.
