Review the ZθJC Graph

Figure 2-1 shows the ZθJC graph from TI’s CSD17579Q5A data sheet, a 30-V power MOSFET in a 5x6mm SON package. The y-axis is the Normalized Thermal Impedance, ZθJC, on a log scale and the x-axis is the pulse width, tp, in seconds on a log scale. Each curve represents a duty cycle value starting at 0% (for example, single pulse) at the bottom and ending at 50% duty cycle for the uppermost curve.
