Description

The LMG3622EVM-082 is a 65-W USB-C PD evaluation module (EVM) for evaluating an off-line quasi-resonant flyback adapter for AC/DC adapters, chargers, USB wall outlets, and other applications. The EVM meets CoC Tier 2 and DoE Level 6 efficiency requirements. The EVM is intended for evaluation purposes and is not intended to be an end product. The LMG3622EVM-082 converts input voltage of 90 VRMS to 265 VRMS down to a selectable USB-C PD output voltage 20 VDC, with a max 3.25 A, and to 5 VDC, 9 VDC, and 15 VDC, with a max 3.00-A output current rating. The main device used in this design is the LMG3622, 650-V integrated GaN FET with current sense emulation.
