ADS7043 is connected to F28379D through the SPI. The SCLK and CS pins make up the output port for ADS7043, so 100kΩ pulldown resistors R36 and R37 are used to avoid floating and getting invalid data. SDO is the output pin for ADS7043, a 33Ω terminating resistor is placed to provide the signal integrity.

Figure 3-6 shows the ADS7043 SPI waveform. During the SPI transmission, CS is pulled down first and the transmission starts. SDO outputs the digital signal with the first two bits set to 0, followed by 12 bits of the conversion result. Then CS is pulled up and the transmission stops.
