Overview

The DS90Ux981-Q1EVM is an evaluation module (EVM) for evaluating the DS90Ux981-Q1 MIPI DSI to FPD-Link IV serializer. The DS90Ux981-Q1 supports ultra-high definition resolutions including 4K with 30 bits per pixel at 60 Hz. The 2 MIPI DSI port input is compatible with MIPI DSI v1.3.1 and DPHY v1.2 with speeds up to 2.5 Gbps per lane and the FPD-Link interface supports up to 10.8 Gbps per channel in FPD-Link IV mode or up to 3.675 Gbps per channel in FPD-Link III mode. The FPD-Link interconnect of the DS90Ux981-Q1EVM is an automotive Rosenberger Highspeed Modular Twisted Pair Data (H-MTD) connector.

  • FPD-Link IV output over Rosenberger H-MTD connector and configurable to SMA connector by changing AC coupling capacitor orientation
  • Includes on-board I2C controller (USB2ANY)
  • MIPI DSI input through a Samtec QSH 40 pin connector
