Description

This power reference design provides 5V/15W over USB-C from a universal AC input range of 85-265VAC. The UCC24636 synchronous rectifer driver and CSD18540Q5B MOSFET allow this design to provide 84% average efficiency. The TPS25810 provides the PD port control over the USB-C output connector.

  • 84% average efficiency
  • No optocoupler or TL431
  • Passes Class B conducted emissions without a common-mode choke
