Description

This reference design is an example of power-trees inside a set-top-box. It performs DC-DC conversions, from 12V supply, for 1.0V/1.2V/1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V rails.

Features
  • Provides 6 power rails: 1.0V/2.7A, 1.0V/0.6A, 1.2V/0.7A, 1.8V/0.4A, 2.5V/1.6A, 3.3V/4A, and 5V/0.5A
  • Best for a Set Top Box with 12V AC-adaptor
  • Demonstrates delay circuits to achieve power on timing/sequencing
  • Peak efficiency over 95%
  • Very compact PCB design
  • This design is tested and ready to be used in any Set Top Box design.
