This reference design showcases a three-phase current sensor for current measurements by measuring the magnetic fields generated by a current carrying conductor such as a PCB trace. The sensor's are placed near a current carrying PCB trace to measure current passing through the trace.  The reference design is suitable for use in industrial applications where basic power monitoring is required.  Through the use of magnetic fluxgate technology, this design is able to cover three-phase current measurements upto 5A per phase while achieving high accuracy.

  • Three-phase current measurement with magnetic fluxgate sensors
  • Calibrated current measurement accuracy ±1%
  • Current sensing over-the-trace (PCB trace)
  • Current measurement range 500mA - 5A
  • Adjustable sensor range up to ±2mT (max)
  • Supply voltage range: 3.0V to 5.5V
