Description

This reference design provides the front end protection of a SSD module and showcases the fully featured power tree for standard 3.3-V, 1.8-V, and 1.5-V rails. This size optimized design helps customers with appropriate selection of the integrated circuit protection device, load switches, and DC/DCs converters.

Features
  • A fully featured SSD power tree for standard 3.3-V, 1.8-V, and 1.5-V rails up to 3 A allows appropriate selection of load switches and DC/DCs in system design
  • The fast overvoltage clamp feature of the TPS2595 eFuse ensures stable and robust system power bus VBus
  • Load switches offer a smaller solution size and lower on-resistance when compared to a discrete MOSFET solution
  • All switched power rails include slew rate control to limit inrush current
