Overview

The TPS563210A is a simple, easy-to-use, wide-Vin, 3-A synchronous step-down converter.  The TPS563210A employs D-CAP2™ mode control that provides a fast transient response and support both low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors such as specialty polymer and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors with no external compensation components. The TPS563210A operates in Advanced Eco-mode™, which maintains high efficiency during light load operation. The TPS563210A also features adjustable slow start time and a dedicated PWRGD pin. The TPS563210AEVM-663 evaluation module operates from an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 17 V and supplies a 1.05 V output voltage at up to 3 A load current.
