Do not leave the analog input (IN) of the AMC1411 unconnected (floating) when the device is powered up on the high-side. If the device input is left floating, the bias current may generate a negative input voltage that exceeds the specified input voltage range and the output of the device is invalid.
Do not connect protection diodes to the input (IN) of the AMC1411. Diode leakage current can introduce significant measurement error especially at high temperatures. The input pin is protected against high voltages by its ESD protection circuit and the high impedance of the external restive divider.
