10 Layout

10.1 Layout Guidelines

Keep feedback loop layout trace lengths to a minimum to avoid unnecessary IR drop. In addition, the loop for the decoupling capacitor at the input should be as small as possible. The trace from VIN to pin 1 of the device should be thicker to handle the higher current.
