Adjustable Capacitor Timing

Adjustable tWC timing is achievable by connecting a capacitor to the CWD pin. If this method is used, please consult Table 8-1 to Table 8-2 for equations to calculate typical tWC values using ideal capacitors as the effect of CCWD depends on the SETx pin values. Capacitor tolerances cause the actual device timing to vary such that the minimum of tWC can decrease and the maximum of tWC can increase by the capacitor tolerance. For the most accurate timing, use ceramic capacitors with COG dielectric material.
