Shutdown

The TPS923621/2 enters shutdown mode when the ADIM pin voltage is logic low for more than 2.5ms. During shutdown, the input supply current for the device is only 130nA typically. Although there is still a path between the input and the LEDs through the inductor and body diode of internal high-side FET, the current of this path is neglectable since the forward voltage of the LED string added the forward voltage of internal high-side FET body diode exceeds the maximum input voltage, VIN, which maintains that the LEDs remain off in shutdown and no contribution to shutdown current.
