Power Supply Recommendations

The recommended voltage supply range for the DRV2700 device is 3 to 5.5 V. For proper operation, place a 0.1-µF low-equivalent series resistance (ESR) supply-bypass capacitor of X5R or X7R type near the VDD pin. This bypass capacitor should have a voltage rating of at least 10 V. The internal charge pump requires a 0.1-µF capacitor of X5R or X7R type with a voltage rating of 10 V or greater to be placed between the PUMP pin and ground for proper operation and stability. Do not use the charge pump as a voltage source for any other devices.
