1.1 Introduction

The TPS65987DDK is a highly integrated stand-alone USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) controller providing cable plug and orientation detection. The TPS65987DDK can also control an attached super-speed multiplexer via GPIO or I2C to simultaneously support USB3.0/3.1 data rates and DisplayPort video.
