As vehicle electrification continues to expand its reach, battery powered bicycles (e-bikes) are well positioned as both an economical and compact solution to enhance individual mobility. However, this electrification comes with an increased need for the bike to be equipped with a variety of sensors which improve overall efficiency of the motor, provide user controls, and provide functions which improve the overall safety and reliability of the system.
