ADS9218EVM-PDK Features

The ADS9218EVM-PDK includes the following features:

  • Hardware and software required for diagnostic testing and accurate performance evaluation of the ADS9218 ADC
  • The FMC connecter adapter board facilitates connection to common FPGA kits
  • The TSWDC155EVM controller (sold separately) requires a separate 5-V, 2-A power source; the ADS9218EVM requires a separate 5.5-V, 1-A power source
  • The TSWDC155EVM controller (sold separately) provides a convenient communication interface to the ADS9218 ADC over USB 3.0 (or higher) for power delivery and for digital inputs and outputs
  • Easy-to-use evaluation software (no cost) for Microsoft® Windows® 10, 64-bit operating systems requires the TSWDC155EVM (sold separately) for operation
  • The software suite (no cost) includes graphical tools for data capture, histogram analysis, spectral analysis, SNR, and THD

Figure 1-1 and Figure 1-2 illustrate two different system configurations available for use.
