8.3.7.3 Overcurrent Detection MASK Time

Inadvertent overcurrent interrupts due to noise or interference can be prevented with use of an overcurrent output masking feature. The TMCS1123D71 overcurrent output OC responds only to sustained overcurrent events that last longer than the masking time tMASK and does not respond to overcurrent events that are shorter than tMASK as shown in Figure 8-9 and specified in the Section 6.9 table.
