7.3 Power Supply Recommendations

This device is designed to operate from an input supply voltage range of 1.5V to 6.0V. Make sure the input supply is well regulated and free of spurious noise. To verify that the output voltage is well regulated and dynamic performance is optimum, make sure the input supply is at least VOUT(nom) + 0.5V. Use a 1µF or greater input capacitor to reduce the impedance of the input supply, especially during transients.
