6.3.6 Input Clock Requirements

When using an external clock source such as an oscillator, make sure the reference clock has a frequency stability of ±100PPM or better and has less than 50ps absolute peak-to-peak jitter. Tie XI to the 1.8V clock source, and leave XO floating.
