Application Information

The TPS25981xx is a 2.7V to 16V, 10A eFuse that is typically used for power rail protection applications. The device operates from 2.7V to 16V with adjustable overvoltage and undervoltage protection. The device provides ability to control inrush current. The device can be used in a variety of systems such as server motherboard/add-on cards/NIC, optical modules, enterprise switches/routers, Industrial PC, UHDTV. The design procedure explained in the subsequent sections can be used to select the supporting component values based on the application requirement. Additionally, a spreadsheet design tool, TPS25981xx Design Calculator, is available in the web product folder.
