Load Transient and Loop Response

Figure 2-5 shows the TPS54A24EVM-058 response to load transients. The current step is from 2.5 A to 7.5 A and the current step slew rate is 1 A/µs. The VOUT voltage is measured using TP16.

Figure 2-6 shows the TPS54A24EVM-058 loop response characteristics. Gain and phase plots are shown for VIN voltage of 12 V and a 0.3 Ω resistive load.
