Switching Peak Current Limit

To prevent an over-current stress, the output of the internal GM amplifier has a internal high clamp in order to set a cycle-by-cycle current limit to the inductor peak current. The low-side switch FET is turned off immediately as soon as the inductor current touches the current limit, IILIM.
