Description:

A 47-nF capacitor is needed on the bandgap pin, and a minimum 4.7pF load capacitor is required on both CLK_M and CLK_P pins. Not having appropriate capacitors on these pins can cause boot-up issues, especially at negative temperatures approaching -40C.

These requirements are included in the errata. It is always recommended for designers to refer to the TI HW/EVM reference design for AWR6843.

Workaround(s):

Use the recommended 47-nF capacitor for bandgap and 4.7pF for CLK_P, CLK_M pins. For example: part - GRM155R71E473KA88 for Vbgap and part no GJM1555C1H4R7BB01D for CLK_P and CLK_M (see the device-specific EVM and Reference Design files for updated part).
