As satellites are processing more data, current requires are becoming higher to support high end processing on FPGAs, ASICs, Data Converter etc. These requirement are increasing faster than what Point of Load (POL) DC-DC Converters and LDOs can support. This can be solved by adding more parts together to allow for an increase in output current.
