The current offering is the HyperSAR+ ATM Chipset, which includes the TNETA1575 155Mbps segmentation and reassembly device (SAR) and the TNETA1585 Traffic Management Scheduler. The TNETA1575 is a pin-compatible and software-compatible upgrade from the TNETA1570. It includes a 32-Bit PCI bus interface (2.1 compliant), Utopia interface, external co-processor interface (COPI), and full-duplex VPI/VCI support for 2048 simultaneous Segmentation and reassembly packets. By adding the 1585 Traffic Management Scheduler to the COPI interface, designers can build ATM traffic management solutions that fully support the ATM Forum's Available Bit Rate (ABR) specification.
