Electronically controlled air suspension (ECAS)

Block diagram

Overview

Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS) systems replace traditional steel springs with air springs to provide adjustable ride height, leveling and improved vibration isolation. The system manages air pressure across multiple bellows to maintain vehicle stability regardless of load or terrain.

Design requirements

  • High processing power for rapid pressure regulation and leveling.
  • Precise analog signal chain for accurate height and pressure sensing.
  • Robust power electronics for efficient compressor and valve control.
