The bq24123EVM-002 provides a convenient method for evaluating the performance of a charge management solution for portable applications using the bq24123. The charger can deliver up to 2 A of continuous output current and is programmed from the factory to deliver 1.33 A of charging current. The only necessities to use the EVM are a power source (16 V max) and the battery to be charged.

  • Input voltage: 5 V to 16 V (one cell) or 9.2 V to 16 V (two cell)
  • Charge rate: 1.33 A
  • Output regulation voltage: 4.2 V (factory default) or 8.4 V (two cell)
  • Number of series cells: 1 or 2 series (configured with jumper)
