Overview

The BQ25773 evaluation module (EVM) is a complete high-power high-efficiency battery charger using I2C-controlled NVDC dual-phase buck-boost charge controller BQ25773. The input voltage range is from 3.5V to 40V, with a programmable output of two to five cells and a charge current range of 0A to 16.3A. This EVM allows the user to evaluate the function and performance of the BQ25773 with step-by-step instructions. The BQ25773EVM also serves as a reference design with complete schematic, layout and bill of materials (BOM).

  • Narrow VDC (NVDC) power path management
  • 600kHz or 800kHz switching frequency for low profile inductor
  • Power and current monitor for CPU throttling
  • Safety features: thermal protection, overvoltage and overcurrent protection
  • Supports Vmin Active Protection (VAP) mode for Intel® platform

  • EV2400 interface device is not included and must be ordered separately
