Overview

The LP8862Q1EVM evaluation module (EVM) helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of this device.  The  LP8862Q1EVM uses the LP8862-Q1 to drive up to 2 LED strings (up to 12 LEDs each, 24 LEDs together) for LCD backlighting with high efficiency.  Information about output voltage and current ratings of LP8862Q1EVM can also be found in the LP8862-Q1 datasheet.  Power supply connection for the battery and test points for each signal can be found on the evaluation board.  LED brightness can be controlled by external PWM signal.  Separate LED board can be used as a load or it is possible to connect LCD panel to the output connector.
