Dimmable LED Driver Reference Design For Aftermarket Light Bars, Spot Lights, and Flood Lights

Design files

This in an automotive boost LED driver designed to drive an LED string of up to 34V at a maximum of 34W of output power. This solution as designed passes CISPR 25 class 3 EMC requirements and is capable of 10:1 analog dimming. High side current sensing allows one end of the LED string to be tied to system ground for ease of connections.

  • CISPR 25 Class 3 compliant
  • 10:1 Analog dimming capable
  • High side current sense allows the LED string to connect directly to ground
  • Up to 34W output power
  • Low LED current ripple
