Description

The PMP20588 reference design utilizes the TPS23861 PSE controller to implement a single port Type 2 PoE PSE.  An isolated flyback converter, utilizing the LM5022 current mode PWM controller, accepts a 12Vdc/24Vac input and provides a 55Vdc/600mA output source for the PSE.  It is ideally suited for any Type 2 (30W) PoE PSE application.

Features
  • Fully autonomous, no digital interface required
  • 12Vdc or 24Vac input provides versatility
  • 1500VRMS isolation from input to PSE output
  • Port ON status LED
