This reference design utilizes a flyback converter to implement a Class 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) poweredDevice dPD) with a 24-V/0.9-A output. The TPS23754
is a combination PD/PWM controller in one package, saving cost and space. This reference design is suited for many PoE applications such as wireless access points, audio, signage and IP cameras.

  • Peak efficiency of 88% (91% for converter)
  • Diode rectification to minimize cost
