Overview

This reference design provides an isolated automotive power supply that can be connected directly to the battery and is primarily targeted to supply gate driver in HEV/EV applications. It provides up to 8-W output power and offers a small footprint solution of 50.4 mm x 21.7 mm. The transformer for the flyback topology can be bought off the shelf.
